Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something right now — Paige Bueckers winning WNBA Rookie of the Year?

That isn’t a shock. That isn’t a twist. That’s DESTINY fulfilled.

This young lady came into the league with all the hype and all the expectations, and she delivered like Amazon Prime.

Nearly unanimous, 70 of 72 first-place votes. Only two folks didn’t vote for her.

Those two? They need to be drug tested.

Paige wasn’t just good—she was HISTORIC.

She averaged 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 boards, and 1.6 steals per game. She led all rookies in scoring and assists. She was the only player in the ENTIRE league ranked top-10 in points, assists, and steals.

And oh, by the way, she dropped 44 on the Sparks, setting the rookie single-game scoring record.

That’s not just Rookie of the Year. That’s straight-up generational.

Now, I know what y’all are going to say—“What about Caitlin Clark? The golden girl. The face of women’s hoops right now.”

And let me be very clear: Caitlin is box office. She’s special.

But Paige? Paige is different. She’s surgical. She doesn’t just play the game; she dissects it.

Her team, the Dallas Wings, finished 10-30. Ugly record, sure.

But you can’t hold that against her. One player doesn’t turn around a franchise overnight.

Ask LeBron when he got to Cleveland. Greatness needs pieces around it.

But with Paige, Dallas has its cornerstone. A UConn legend, a national champion, a Naismith winner, and now Rookie of the Year.

This is how dynasties begin.

So here’s my message: The WNBA better get ready.

Because Paige Bueckers isn’t coming — she’s HERE.

And this award? It’s just the appetizer.

The main course is coming, and trust me, it’s going to be legendary.
