I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or call Adam Silver myself. Because here we are — Trae Young and Patrick Beverley beefing like it’s a Verzuz battle.

Pat Bev says All-Stars don’t play hard in the All-Star Game. Fine. Not wrong.

But then Ice Trae claps back, “Relax. Let us speak for ourselves.”

And what does Pat Bev do?

He pulls out the flamethrower. He goes on his podcast, claiming Trae isn’t a good leader, players don’t want to play with him, and he’s not that guy.

Excuse me?!

With all due respect, Pat Bev, YOU are the last man who should be questioning leadership.

You’re the energy guy, the irritant, the dog on defense — and I respect the grind.

But let’s not get crazy here.

You’re talking down on a FOUR-TIME All-Star averaging 24 and 11 last season, while you’ve averaged 8 points your whole career.

Trae Young?

He’s carried Atlanta to the Conference Finals. He’s been the best player on his squad since he stepped into the league.

Pat Bev?

You’ve been a role player surrounded by stars—LeBron, Kawhi, Harden, Giannis. And with all that help, you’ve sniffed ONE conference final.

One!

Now Trae wasn’t just quiet about it.

Oh no.

He dropped an 11-minute video like it was a mixtape, torching Bev’s resume.

He pointed out the fake “impact on winning,” the over-the-top celebrations after a Play-In win, and the fact that Pat Bev has always been carried by All-Stars.

Listen — I love Pat Bev’s competitive fire. I love that he carved out a lane and lasted this long in the NBA.

But there are levels to this. And Trae Young is on a level Pat Bev has never touched.

Period.

So here’s my final word: Pat Bev might win the podcast wars, but on the hardwood?

It ain’t even close.

Ice Trae > Pat Bev.

And it ain’t up for debate.
